We've done some research on some of the most fuel efficient minivans that are currently on the market! As you are shopping for a hybrid minivan, we hope this helps you narrow down your minivan search as well as save money on fuel costs!

On the market currently there are only two models of hybrid and plug-in hybrid minivans available! The Toyota Sienna, which is only offered as a traditional hybrid and the Chrysler Pacifica which is a plug-in hybrid. These are two great options for families who commute to their kids activites and want to save on fuel expenses.

When the Toyota Sienna Hybrid was released in 2021, it started our with a fuel range of 630, now the 2023 models come with a fuel range of 648 miles! This fuel range is way more than your typical sedan! This makes it a great van for not only commuting, but for road trips as well!

The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid was released in 2017 with a range of 563 miles, the electric battery range is 34 miles! Which makes it a great vehicle for brining the kids back and forth to daycare, adn then go to work on a single charge. If your employer has charging stations at work, you can charge your van there, then your total drive would be on electric. But with the 2024 model Chrysler has not increased the overall range of this van, nor have they increased the range of the battery. You actually lose total range on the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, you go down to 529 miles of total range.

This is part of why we recommend buying a used Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, as you will get more overall range in comparison to the new 2024 models.

As the electric vehicle market is growing, we hope to expand on this list! If you are looking for a hybrid minivan, tap/click here to view our inventory.
