Honda is releasing it's first all electric vehicle this year, as part of it's goal to hit 2 millon EV sales globally by 2030! The all new Honda Prologue! This is a great step towards electrification for Honda and it's loyal customers!
The Prologue is built on GM's Ultium platform, the same one that is used to built the Blazer EV, Equinox EV and Silverado EV. GM's Ultium plantform is a cutting edge EV technology differentatior that helps pave the way to a world of zero crashed, zero emissions and zero congestion. Also it allows for larger vehicle range (combating range anxiety), great performance and makes electric vehicles more affordable to own. The Ultium EV platofmr has a comination of up to 3 motors and 24 battery modules for versatility.
This Honda will be offered in a variousl configurations; single motor FWD and dual motor AWD, as well as three trim levels EX, Touring and Elite. We love that it comes with an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery, this SUV can gain 65 miles of range in about 10 minutes when charging on a DC fast charger.
Honda is truly doing things right, it has teamed up with other manufactureres to establish a network of high-sed and brand-neutral charging stations across the US. With the expectations that the first locations will be live this summer.
